Languages in a Global World – Exeter January 25th

Anyone interested in Modern languages in the Exeter area is invited to an event at the University of Exeter on Friday 25th. ‘Languages in a Global World’ brings together local Modern Languages teachers and their students as well as University Alumni and current staff and students of languages and international cultures. The inaugural event sees Ben Bradshaw MP in conversation with Professor Andrew Thorpe. Ben and Andrew will discuss their experience of language-learning at school and Ben will give insights into how his knowledge of languages and international cultures has enhanced his career in the media and politics.

Followed by a Q&A with Professor Sally Faulkner, Associate Dean for International and Development.*

When: Friday 25th January 2019, 15:30 – 16:30
